Data Processing Notice for Zentredge service provider responsibilities, customer responsibilities, subprocessors, AI processing, retention, and deletion.

Overview

This Data Processing Notice explains how Zentredge handles data when providing software services, dashboards, widgets, AI-assisted workflows, and automations to business customers. This policy is provided for transparency and does not constitute legal advice. Customers should seek independent legal advice for their own compliance obligations.

Zentredge as a service provider/processor

When Zentredge processes lead, widget, conversation, account, or operational data on behalf of a business customer, Zentredge generally acts as a service provider or processor for the purpose of providing the requested software service.

Customer as business/controller

The business customer controls how the widget or system is used on its website, what information it requests from visitors, and what notices or permissions are required for its own users and customers.

Data processed through the platform

Data may include business account information, account email, website/domain, approved domains, client/customer names, lead email or phone if collected, quote request details, chat or conversation messages, widget settings, usage or billing status, and error or performance events.

Purpose of processing

Zentredge processes data to provide the software service, operate dashboards, capture and route leads, deliver transactional emails, monitor errors, maintain security, process billing status, and improve reliability.

Subprocessors

Depending on the features enabled, subprocessors may include Supabase, Clerk, Paddle, Resend or another email provider, Sentry, Vercel or hosting/VPS infrastructure, and AI/LLM providers.

AI/LLM processing

AI features may process relevant conversation, quote, or business context through AI/LLM providers to generate responses, summaries, or assistance. Customers should avoid collecting highly sensitive information unless legally permitted and agreed.

Security measures

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect data, including access controls, domain checks where applicable, provider security features, monitoring, and operational safeguards.

Data retention and deletion

Data is retained as needed to provide services, operate accounts, support billing and legal records, maintain security, and resolve disputes. Customers may request deletion support by contacting support@zentredge.com.

Customer responsibilities

For widget users, the business customer controls how the widget is used on their website and is responsible for providing any required notices to visitors and handling their own compliance obligations.

International transfers

Data may be processed in locations where Zentredge or service providers operate. We aim to support common data protection obligations, but customers should evaluate their own regional requirements.

Data subject requests

If a visitor contacts Zentredge about data submitted to a customer's widget, we may direct the request to the relevant business customer or assist as appropriate. Customers can contact support@zentredge.com for support with requests.

Contact information

Data processing questions can be sent to support@zentredge.com or contact@zentredge.com.
